The purpose of this position is to design Martin Wine Cellar promotional material and assist the Marketing Manager with the day-to-day responsibilities in the Marketing Department. The graphic designer is responsible for designing/layout of promotional material and advertisements; photographing and editing products (bottles, gifts and food); generating, updating, monitoring, and promoting Martin Wine Cellar social medial outlets; and contributing ideas to improve the Marketing for Martin Wine Cellar. This position will assist in updating and promoting (google ad words) the website. We are looking for candidates with strong organizational and multitasking skills, reliability and creativity but will adhering to the Martin Brand. Hours & Pay: This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Monday-Friday from 8-5pm Education & Experience: Associates degree or some college required, bachelor’s degree preferred. One (1) year of related experience required, two (2) years preferred. Skills: Typing, data entry, reading, writing, and pc/windows including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, Dreamweaver and Acrobat), and Microsoft Word and Excel. CHEF (Baronne Street)
Martin Wine Cellar is now accepting resumes and applications for Chefs who are interested in working at our Bistro/Deli in our new Baronne Street location. The target reopening date for this store is mid-November 2014. We are looking for creative candidates to work in a team that participates in the day-to-day menu design and production of lunch, dinner, catering and a la carte dishes. Job responsibilities include menu development, food preparation, inventory control, product ordering, company and state health compliance, kitchen safety, organization, etc… Chefs are required to participate in company and customer functions. Pay & Hours: This is a salaried position with benefits. Rotating schedule for opening and closing shifts with two days off a week. Great opportunity not to work late nights! See store hours for details. The store will be open seven days a week with various schedules required. Education and Experience: Vocational or training in a related field with a degree preferred. Four years of related experience required. A broad repertoire and palate is a must. Certifications: ServSafe certificate and/or State Food Safety Certification preferred and may be required.
