Assist the restaurant Bistro & Deli Manager in overseeing all aspects of the bistro/deli/catering operations. This includes customer satisfaction, inventory control, expediting, running registers, taking orders, planning parties, food preparation, and cross-trained on all stations, etc. Assistant Managers participate in all aspects of employee relations including hiring, training, scheduling, labor costs, and supervision of employees. Manager schedules include pre-opening and post-closing supervisor duties.
Skills: typing, pc/windows, reading, writing, and answering multiple phone lines required.
Open 7 days a week Early Nights.
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Experience: 1-2 years of related experience required, additional years of experience and in catering or understanding food preparation and kitchen management preferred.
Responsible Vendor Certification required. ServSafe certificate and/or state food safety certification preferred and may be required.

Sales Consultant is a customer service and operations position that requires solid wine knowledge versed in all wine regions around the world. Applicants must have the ability and strong desire to sell, build a solid customer base, and develop relationships with customers. This Sales Consultant position has daily customer service duties assisting customers on the floor, on the phone and by email with their purchases, party planning, education, gift selections, and more. Sales Consultants will regularly participate in company and store events including hosting tastings and seminars. Ability to develop effective strategies to encourage additional purchases and support of company marketing goals and programs. Knowledge of niche spirits is a strong plus. Sales Consultants will assist in other phases of the store including answering phones, building/maintaining displays, inventory pars and control, maintaining neatness and organization, and assisting management as needed with the store’s operational duties.
The store is open seven days a week. Work schedules vary; requires flexibility with opening, closing, and weekend shifts.
High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Two years related experience and wine knowledge required: retail and/or restaurant wine service.

Maintain the cheese, pate and meat case, prepare cheese for satellite store transfers, order products as assigned, etc. Includes cut, wrap and price items. Produce cheese plates and a variety of gourmet retail items. Responsible for daily opening and breakdown procedures, cleaning, sanitation, inspection, and inventory needs.
Experience and interest in gourmet food, meat slicing, and food and wine pairing. Food Safety certification a plus. Knife and meat slicer use is required for daily job performance. Experience in slicing and knowledge of cheese is a PLUS.
