Martin Wine Cellar, closed since Hurricane Katrina, will reopen next week, reports Uptown Messenger.
The store is awaiting final permits, Hope Martin told NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune. They hope to announce a firm opening date by the end of this week.
The Uptown Martin Wine Cellar, as it did before the storm, will combine a deli with a full wine and liquor store. Cheese and other gourmet items also will be available.
Before it closed in 2005, Martin Wine Cellar was as popular for lunch as it was for shopping.
